Former inmates should not feel alone
FREE INMATE is an exit community. Our mission is:
- to provide a concrete, hands-on offer to help, support and inspire former inmates and their relatives
- to give them a foundation for a sustainable future
- to point to Jesus as a solid path towards a new start
This will, first and foremost, be achieved through healthy, relevant and permanent
communities and the mentoring scheme "FREE INMATE Butler", both of which fall under church auspices.
FREE INMATE wishes – through resocialization – to form a bridge back to life for former inmates and their relatives, so that everyone will be a winner.
FREE INMATE wishes to be a blessing to the individual and for society as a whole – in
close cooperation with e.g. partner churches and congregations as well as church communities.
FREE INMATE’s vision is to be exactly where former inmates and their relatives need it to be. The goal is therefore to become a nationwide organisation.
